1. Platform Overview & Scope of Services
EdgeIIT provides educational resources, computer-based mock assessments, chapter-wise visual mind maps, and academic guidance from IITian mentors specifically tailored for students preparing for competitive entrance examinations (including JEE and NEET).
All platform materials, test interfaces, and mentor sessions are designed to supplement independent study. EdgeIIT does not replace formal schooling or curriculum boards.
2. Student Enrollment & Account Security
- Credential Issuance: Student portal credentials (Student ID and password) are non-transferable and issued directly upon enrollment confirmation.
- Account Confidentiality: Students and guardians are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. Sharing account access with third parties is strictly prohibited.
- No Open Self-Registration: To maintain authenticated cohort management and disciplined testing integrity, EdgeIIT does not support open unverified public self-registration.
3. Mock Tests & Educational Content
Mock assessments are scheduled to build authentic time management, accuracy, and examination temperament.
- Mock tests must be attempted independently under realistic test conditions to ensure authentic diagnostic value.
- EdgeIIT reserves the right to adjust test schedules, question formats, and chapter coverage to align with updated exam patterns.
- Assessment scores and analytics represent simulated performance feedback and are provided for diagnostic and strategic purposes only.
4. No Guarantees of Admission or Rank
EdgeIIT provides structured practice, analytical insights, and experienced mentorship. However, exam outcomes depend fundamentally on individual student effort, consistency, retention, and examination-day factors.
EdgeIIT does not make any guaranteed claims regarding exam scores, percentiles, all-India ranks, or college admissions.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content published or provided by EdgeIIT—including but not limited to mock test questions, answer rationales, chapter mind maps, visual diagrams, logos, user interfaces, branding, and written materials—is the proprietary intellectual property of EdgeIIT and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Users are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access materials solely for their own preparation. Downloading, copying, redistributing, publishing, or selling EdgeIIT materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination of access.
6. Service Availability & Technical Support
While we strive for high service uptime and seamless portal operation, occasional technical maintenance, network outages, or updates may temporarily affect availability. EdgeIIT will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore services promptly and reschedule affected mock test windows where practical.
7. Account Misuse & Suspension
EdgeIIT reserves the right to suspend or terminate portal access for any user found engaging in unauthorized activities, including attempting to reverse-engineer software, unauthorized extraction of question banks, harassment of mentors, or sharing credentials.
